Week-long Chakra Intensive Retreat:

This 5 day chakra immersion is specifically designed for yoga teachers and students ready for the deeper dive into the energetic body and the chakra system; as well as the corresponding physiological components to each of the 7 chakras. We will look at both the microcosm and the macrocosm and review how an imbalance in one chakra can cause imbalance in another.

Topics covered:

  • specific yoga asanas for each chakra
  • chakra toning
  • chakra sound, color and light
  • clearing exercises
  • meditations specific to each chakra
  • visualization exercises
  • chakra assessments for both self and others
  • energetic mapping
  • Sanskrit
  • Nadis and Ayurvedic components
  • teaching methodology
  • the endocrine system and chakra correlations
  • self reflection and journaling

There will be time to hike and explore the amazing and transformative grounds of Elohee.

We will have a FULL yoga practice ALL 5 days of the training.

Tuition includes dinner on Monday; breakfast, lunch and dinner Tuesday – Thursday; and breakfast and lunch on Friday. Elohee has a tea and coffee bar available to guests at all times.

Abbey has offered sold out retreats at this location previously and it is one of her favorite places to host.

This retreat is offered as part of Etowah Valley Yoga’s Yoga Alliance approved 300 hour teacher training and is a requirement to complete the training. Yoga Alliance Continuing Education hours are also available for attending this retreat.

ALL are welcome!
