Instructor: Candice Goch, MSPT, C-IAYT, E-RYT-500, RPYT
Candice has been a physical therapist for 28 years, with the last 24 years focused on pelvic floor rehabilitation. In this workshop she will discuss the anatomy of the pelvic floor and how it should optimally function, as well as, the symptoms that indicate dysfunction of the pelvic floor muscles. You will be empowered with simple solutions (and they do NOT include Kegels!) to a few of the most common dysfunctions of the pelvic floor such as pain with sex, prolapse of organs, and leaking with coughing, sneezing, & laughing.
The first day is open to anyone (women and men) who wants to learn more about their own body and how to maximize their pelvic floor health.
Day two is geared toward yoga teachers and will dive deep into how to apply this pelvic floor knowledge into our yoga classes.
The 20 hours of instruction is fully approved for Yoga Alliance CEU’s but not the full 100-hr. training (RPYT).
